Resistance probes:
Platinum wire threaded on a base material is used at a wide temperature range (-200°C /+850°C). Having good linearity and remarkable stability, it is the most suitable material. The sensors are normally fitted with probes of Pt 100Ω to 0°C but can also be made in 50, 200, 500, 1000Ω.
